In 1968, William Posey founded HSI Sensing in Chickasha, Oklahoma.  After helping create Reed Switch Technology at General Electric, Posey founded then what would become a multi-million dollar operation that would impact global markets.

Today, Posey’s sons, David and Tom, as well as his grandsons, Ryan and Travis, have developed and grown the company to third-generation greatness. With innovative product design and custom/niche solutions, the Poseys have taken the company to the pinnacle status of the sensing industry.

HSI Sensing is an ISO 9001:2008-registered company that designs, develops, and manufactures reed switches, proximity sensors, and other sensing technologies.

HSI provides custom and standard sensing solutions to industries including aerospace, agricultural, computer/electronic, construction, fluid processing, lawn/garden/turf, medical, military, security, and telecommunications.

Specific applications in which HSI products are used include burglar alarms, commercial and military jet engines, commercial lawn mowers, defibrillators, hearing aids, pacemakers, space station/space shuttle functions, test, measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE), Vagus nerve stimulators, valve-position monitoring devices, wireless devices, etc.  Customers include Fortune 500 companies as well as other key players in the global marketplace.
